Women's Falcon Bicycle Club Scoop Neck T-Shirt
Falcon Bicycle Club
In 1895, a daring group of lady cyclists, known collectively as the Falcon Bicycle Club obtained an old horse-drawn railcar from Mayor Sutro. They perched what became their new clubhouse in the sand dunes at Carville by-the-sea, on the outskirts of Golden Gate Park. Many jolly times were had at the Falcon clubhouse as cycling was vogue during the late 1800’s and attracted bohemians, artists and some of the most noted figures of the day. Cycling brought a freedom of movement and a newly found sense of independence to the wheelwomen of this era. Abandoning corsets and petticoats for controversial bloomers, these lady cyclists had a passion for fun and adventure.
**Fits slightly slimmer so if you like your shirts loose, order a size up**
