We round out our Fall Alameda Heritage series with a tip of a hat (or in this case, baseball cap!) to the 1939 California State Champs, The Ben's Tavern Golden Glows. Alameda's Golden Glows were recognized as one of the strongest semi pro baseball teams in Northern California in the late 1930's.
